Find a free place
Many churches have Sunday School classrooms sitting empty all week. There is a Grab & Go one page that you can download and give to pastor’s to help you find your free place.
Find Your People
You’ll be surprised at the number of fellow families, grandparents, and retired teachers who will join your team. Be sure to have every one of them get a live-scan fingerprint clearance for security as soon as possible. It can take approximately to receive the clearance.
Choose Your Curriculum and Order it
When you find your families, meet together and pray and decide on a common curriculum. This is essential to team-teaching. You can find links and costs to vetted curriculum for grades K-12 for Language Arts (phonics, reading, spelling, writing, and grammar), Mathematics, Science, Social Studies(civics/government/history), and Bible. These can be found on the Resources page.
Choose the Schedule that Works Best for You
There are various schedules to choose from on the Resources page: “Choose Your Schedule.” We have provided schedules for parents working away from home, as well for parents working at home.
